I have been drawing for as long as I can remember, and painting from the time I figured out how to open the paint cans my father used in his work; he was a carpenter and house painter by trade. I was never discouraged from drawing and 'coloring', except when I used crayons to doodle on the walls of our home.
I believe in the old expressions, "art is love", it stole my heart at a young age, and still has me in its throes.
